Dr. Antonious

Dr. Antonious is a board-certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon. She received her DDS degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 2015. She then pursued post-doctoral specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and received a certificate in Periodontics and a Master’s degree. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Antonious joined a Periodontal and Dental Implant Practice in Iowa while her husband completed residency training in Anesthesiology.

She was also recruited as part-time faculty in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Iowa where she taught dental students and post-doctoral periodontal residents. Dr. Antonious is proficient in providing treatment in all areas of periodontal and implant therapy, including the treatment of periodontal disease, bone and soft tissue grafting, implant surgery, LANAP (laser-assisted new attachment procedure), esthetic crown lengthening, and periodontal plastic surgery.
